How can I claim any outstanding Gift Aid?

Please email Bmycharity at info@bmycharity.com between the 15th of January 2016 and the 28th of February 2016 with the following information:

  • Dates of from and to that Gift Aid is yet to be claimed
  • Name of the Charity
  • The request must come from the registered email address for the Charity
It is important that you provide all the above requested information so that, in turn, we can supply you with the relevant report.

What does the future hold for Bmycharity?

Bmycharity closed on the 31st of December 2015 and all functionality has been removed. For those fundraisers wishing to raise money for Help for Heroes, we are advising you to use JustGiving as this will be more beneficial for our beneficiaries. To set a JustGiving page up, please visit JustGiving. For those fundraisers wishing to raise money for a different Charity, we are advising you to contact your chosen Charity to discuss a preferred alternative online giving platform for you to use. If you have any questions at all, please visit our Charity Partner FAQs or our Fundraiser FAQs.

When does Bmycharity close?

Bmycharity closed on the 31st of December 2015 and you will need to source an alternative online giving provider if you haven't already done this.

Can our supporters continue to make donations to our Charity page?

The last date for making donations through Bmycharity was the 31st of December 2015. Please be aware that it takes several days for online donations to be processed and, taking into account the festive season, we'd like to suggest that you check your total donation figure again on the 15th of January 2016.

Will our Bmycharity page(s) transfer over to another online giving site automatically?

Unfortunately, there is no automatic transfer from Bmycharity to another online giving site.

What will happen to our fundraisers' pages?

We have written to all of your fundraisers who have an open page to remind them of the imminent closure, and to suggest that they contact you regarding the new creation of any new fundraising pages if they haven't already done this. We have also suggested that they bookmark their fundraising pages before closure if they want to view these after the 31st of December 2015 (for a limited period only).

What happens to the donations which have been pledged on our page?

The donations already pledged via Bmycharity either have been, or will, be paid across to your charity. These are completely secure.

What will happen to existing personal data held by Bmycharity when the company closes down?

For Inland Revenue purposes this information will be securely held by Bmycharity for the statutory period.
Please note Bmycharity does not hold credit card data.

If I have any questions who should I contact?

If you have any questions at all, or want to talk through the transition process, please contact Bmycharity on 01980 846459 or info@bmycharity.com
